Get Involved
The mission of Outreach Sports is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ through Sports! We aim to do this in a number of ways.
The first and newest way is by providing sports programs for foster care children, children in afterschool programs, and mentally handicapped individuals. These sports programs allow us to serve their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. These programs provide for a more healthy and satisfying life here on earth as well as provide the opportunity for individuals to know more about our Lord Jesus Christ and His free gift of eternal life in heaven.
The second way is to provide sports camps that provide sports training for youth while at the same time providing character development and spirtual health.
The third way is to host tournaments and events so that individuals and local churches can outreach to people that they care about through sports, making it possible for their friends and family to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ in ways that they may feel more comfortable.
Our final way is to provide training and services to churches so that they in turn can can have effective sports ministries at their church. We help them host ministry centered tournaments, leagues, and events so that the church in turn can outreach and fellowship through sports.
Become a Coach
Become a coach and help us provide character development and physical, emaotional, social, and spiritual health to youth and mentally handicapped individuals.
Become a coach and receive training on how to lead your church or team in sharing the Good News of Jesus Chirst through sports!
Become a Prayer Partner
Please pray for the ministry of Outreach Sports and the souls we are trying to reach through this ministry. Pray for spiritual growth of the individuals involved with Outreach Sports. Pray for unity among churches. Pray for financial support so that the ministry of Outreach Sports can continue. Pray for guidance, protection, and provision for the leaders of this ministry and their families as we continue to try to Share the Good News of Jesus Christ through sports.
Volunteer at Events
Help us serve these children at a sports camp. Join a team, be a coach, work at the check-in table, be a scorekeeper, or referee at one of our tournaments or events. Also consider data entry, making phone calls, other administrative tasks, or overseeing a sports ministry at your church. Whatever the role we could use your gifts and service!
Become a Financial Partner/Sponsor
We desperately could use your gifts as we are trying to provide these services free of charge to the underprivileed children and adults. We need your gifts to be able to continue our work as well as expand and serve many more individuals. Outreach Sports is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 organization and as such all donations for which no service is received are tax deductible. Please consider cotributing to the ministry of Outreach Sports and helping us continue to serve these individuals and share the Good News of Jesus Christ through sports!
